Special products (paints) perform some tasks not directly related to design, or have some special features. Such products include: - wood preservatives, - fungicidal solutions and paints. These compounds act like antibiotics, protecting wood from fungi and rotting - hydrophobizing solutions. These compounds impart water-repellent properties to porous surfaces, while they remain breathable (vapor permeable) - rust modifiers.
The composition, using a chemical reaction, neutralizes oxides, thereby forming a protective film. Modifiers allow you to paint surfaces without thoroughly cleaning and sanding them; there is also a fire retardant composition for wood .
Some paints used for wood can enhance its texture, while others, by changing color, preserve the structure itself. I use a tree of one species; by painting, I can imitate the species of other trees. Glow-in-the-dark paints also seem to be interesting compositions. I don’t remember where they are imported from, but somewhere they are in abundance, but here, it seems, they have never been released - this is new material. But, as Suvorov writes, we were developing anti-radiation paint. They were going to use it to paint airplanes flying over the infected area.
