Quartz heater TeplEko
Why buy a TeplEko quartz heater? With the onset of cold weather, we often think about modern methods of heating premises that would meet the basic requirements: safety, efficiency and accessibility. Every year, the range of heating devices offered becomes wider, presenting customers with new types of heaters based on different bases and operating principles. Over the past few years, TeplEco quartz heaters have rightfully gained popularity in the heating market. The existing advantages have ensured stable customer demand for this type of heater.
Calculation of the number of heaters
To calculate the required number of panels for heating a room, it is necessary to divide the volume of the heated room into the heated volume of a specific panel (this can be found in the product passport, as well as on the official Tepleko website).
For example, let’s take a panel with a heated volume of 17 m3 and a room of 12 m2 with a ceiling height of 2.8 m. 12 x 2.8 / 17 = 2 Tepleko heaters. This calculation is relevant only for an insulated room ; if it is not insulated, then we calculate the size of the heated volume as 10 m3 and not 17 m3.
Quartz heater TeplEko
What is it and what is its working principle?
The TeplEco quartz heater is a modern and universal heating device powered by electricity. It has the following operating principle.
The heating element (nichrome wire - an alloy of nickel and chromium) is safely and discreetly placed in a monolithic and durable slab of quartz (an earth mineral). As the entire panel warms up to the set temperature and the quartz sand heats up, which significantly increases heat transfer, the air temperature in the room also increases. The TeplEko quartz heater is based on infrared radiation, which is evenly dispersed throughout the room. At the same time, for optimal heating of the device (75 ° C) only 20-25 minutes are needed, and until the stove completely cools down, much more time is required (several hours). The heating element is conveniently hidden in a durable frame, which allows the quartz heater to fit into any interior.
Design and principle of operation
The heater heats the room thanks to its special design.
So, its design includes a special plate with an installed spiral. During active operation, the surface of the unit can heat up to 95 degrees Celsius. Thanks to such high temperatures, the air in an apartment or house is heated quite quickly. Such heating can also be called convective. An infrared signal is emitted from the heating panel at the same time as the heat. Thus, the device combines several functional features, simultaneously performing the functions of a combi oven and an infrared device. It is important to note that the stove, which is part of the design of the heater and is its integral element, is connected directly to the electrical network. The absence of additional automatic devices ensures that the device is able to maintain stable and uninterrupted operation
The quartz heater itself is a structure that is located in a complete housing made of a special material - straightened quartz sand. A small amount of marble chips is also added to it. In the inner part of the device there is a special heating device, which has the shape of a spiral.
Heating elements made of quartz receive current from the electrical network and direct it along this spiral. Thus, it gradually begins to heat up. The temperature indicators of the spiral are about 980 degrees Celsius. However, in situations where a special monolithic heater is additionally switched on, this temperature level does not exceed 120 degrees. Thus, it is possible to significantly increase the resource of use of the device and its service life.
The units produced and released have a fairly high inertia rate. Thanks to this, the heating element heats up and, accordingly, cools down for a long time. Thus, even after you have disconnected the device from the power supply or if this happened against your will (for example, a power outage), the room will remain at a high temperature for another 90 minutes.
What is the difference and what are the advantages?
- Energy efficiency. The rated power of quartz heaters is 0.25 kW, which is approximately equal to the consumption of two light bulbs and results in economical energy consumption. The mains voltage is standard - 220 V, and the plug fits a standard (European) socket. No adapters required. The maximum heating temperature of the equipment is 95 °C, and the efficiency of quartz heaters is about 100%. This means that almost all consumed electricity is converted into heat. For a small room, it is enough to install just one heater.

Reviews
Victor L., Moscow
The parents' house has old-style stove heating. Firewood was constantly needed. I decided to help them and installed 6 quartz heaters. Parents loved it! Easy to use, now there is no need to buy firewood and waste energy on lighting the stove.
Andrey Pak, Ivanovo
Thank you I decided to try heating my garage this way - 4 stoves were enough. Before that I used diesel - it’s terribly impractical and expensive, unlike quartz.
Olga Petrovna Furmanov, Ivanovo region
My son gave me a birthday present - he bought a quartz heater for my small apartment. It turned out to be very profitable and convenient! I recommended it to all my neighbors.
Maria Sh. St. Petersburg
A year ago I moved into a studio apartment. The central heating could not cope with the St. Petersburg weather. I bought a quartz heater, and the apartment immediately became much warmer. It is also important for me that the heater does not dry out the air, as this is harmful to the skin, and that it fits into the interior of the apartment. Therefore, I am very pleased with the purchase!
Alexey Ivanov, Moscow
At first, there were doubts whether buying a quartz heater would be more profitable than gas heating. But after careful calculations, it turned out that I would ultimately pay many times more for gas heating. The quality is also satisfactory, and it’s much easier and safer to install and use. As a father of 3 children, this was also important to me.
How it works: device and principle of operation
Operating principle: the air is heated by heating the plate from a spiral mounted in it. In this case, the case can warm up to 90 degrees. Such a high temperature conducts convective heating of the air in the house, and an infrared stream emanates from the panel. In other words, the thermoregulatory system itself is convective and infrared at the same time.
The structural slab is connected directly to the electrical network - it is not equipped with automatic systems, and accordingly, it always operates at the same high level.
According to reviews, a device purchased directly from the manufacturer allows you to effectively warm up a room, but in order for a person to regulate the temperature in it, it is necessary to additionally purchase and install a thermoregulatory system.
