Oven characteristics
This unit is small in size and light in weight. It has a fairly simple design. An open reservoir and a fuel tank are installed in the steel body, which are connected to each other like communicating vessels.
To limit the flow of flammable substances from the tank, the outlet pipe is equipped with a special valve. From the kerosene gas stove there was a burner powered by diesel fuel. This element is a reliable wick, the lower part of which is immersed in a tank of fuel.
After opening the valve, fuel will begin to flow into the working tank. A special cord, pre-wound on a cylinder-shaped base, quickly absorbs it. After a few minutes, you can ignite the stove. No equipment is required for this, because everything is done by hand.
In order for the diesel fuel device to warm up to the desired temperature, you will have to wait a little. The power of the unit is controlled by a valve. He is also her switch.
The downside of the device is that the burner goes out 10 minutes after the diesel fuel runs out. To somehow compensate for this drawback, many manufacturers install a metal grate directly above the burner, which, if necessary, will allow water to be heated in a container.
One of these miracle stoves is the Solarogaz PO-1.8 model, made in Russia. The maximum power of such a unit does not exceed 1.8 kW. In the photo below you can see this device.
Self-production
To do this, you will need a tank with a volume of at least 2 liters. There will be no smoke or soot during stove operation. During the process of igniting the stove, it will, so this process is recommended to be carried out outdoors.
Diesel from the fuel tank enters the wick cup. Using the dispenser, you can regulate the amount of incoming fuel. In the combustion cup, the fuel is heated until a gaseous mixture is formed, which then enters the combustion chamber. The spiral, which is located at the top of the chamber, is heated to a temperature of 800 °C. The smoke escapes through the chimney.
Please note: the chimney is made collapsible for further convenience when cleaning it from soot.
You can make your own apparatus weighing six kilograms. Diesel fuel is a fuel with a fairly high density, so its consumption is minimal. Overall, this stove is an efficient and easily transportable design.
Precautionary measures
Using a stove powered by diesel fuel requires mandatory compliance with safety regulations. This is especially true for the garage. First of all, it houses an expensive car and stores other things that are difficult for any mechanic to do without.
There are always flammable substances in the garage. Before you put your miracle diesel stove into operation, you need to think about fire safety. Such a device is a source of fire hazard.
A diesel fuel stove must not be installed in areas with constant drafts. No flammable objects should get inside the device.
Even with a limited garage area, a half-meter space should be maintained around such a heater.
A diesel stove must not be installed near flammable or flammable substances.
Cylinders weighing 5 kg are the best option. They come in different types and are designed for different purposes. For quiet work in the garage, the following models will be most suitable:
- automatic;
- carbon dioxide;
- non-volatile.
Where are they used?
Regardless of what type of fuel is used in heaters, all devices have one important advantage. They are able to work for quite a long time, without human participation and control.
As you already understand, heaters running on diesel fuel will be an excellent help in a greenhouse or garage. With their help, you can effectively heat a warehouse or industrial space. Portable, non-volatile models are convenient to take with you to the forest or fishing. With their help, you can not only heat your tent, but also quickly prepare hot food.
Infrared diesel heaters are successfully used on open verandas and work sites. And of course, with the help of such devices you can effectively heat a dacha or a small country house.
Methods for constructing a furnace
You can purchase a factory unit that runs on diesel fuel. However, a hand-assembled device is sometimes much more economical. Moreover, it can be adapted to specific installation locations.
There are several types of diesel heaters. Let's look at them later in the article.
Construction from a conventional gas cylinder
To create such a device, you need to prepare the following materials:
- seamless cylinder, the wall thickness of which does not exceed 1.5 cm;
- smoke exhaust pipes with a diameter of more than 10 cm and a length of 4 m;
- fuel storage capacity up to 15 liters;
- copper pipes;
- steel corners;
- Bulgarian;
- welding machine.
Fuel is supplied by gravity; no additional devices for pumping air are required. The combustion source located inside and the circuit must be at the same height. This prevents the furnace from heating to fire hazard levels.
Since flammable vapors appear in a device operating on diesel fuel, to create the required temperature it is necessary that the walls of the housing be of small thickness. The cylinder is cut into equal parts by a grinder. One serves as a cover, the other as a camera.
Legs from a metal corner are welded to the second element. In the upper part, at a distance of about 15 cm from the edge, a hole is made by welding into which an exhaust or chimney pipe 4 m long and 10 cm in diameter is inserted. To be able to regulate the air supply, a hole is also made in the housing, which is covered by a plate.
It is necessary to measure 10 cm from the welding area. In this place, a small opening with a diameter of 3 mm is made. Thus, 10 more holes are made in 5 mm increments. The latter should be at a distance of 50 cm from the weld point.
In this pipe, you need to make another opening into which a product 4 m long and 8 cm in diameter will be inserted. It is installed parallel to the floor, then securely welded.
To fill the fuel, you need to make another hole with a diameter of 8 cm in the lid.
Drip stove
This design is ideal for heating small spaces. It perfectly heats both tourist tents and small houses.
Manufacturing technology:
- The volume of the heated room is calculated. For a room measuring 3x3 m you will need a box 30x30x45 cm.
- If you have a small oven, you can use the bottom of a fire extinguisher. For a larger device, a 200-liter container is suitable. These products are designed to heat the heated stove.
- For diesel fuel, you must use a 2 liter medical burner. Its rubber hose is connected to a copper tube of small diameter and 1 m long. It bends at an angle of 90 degrees.
- The hose needs to be folded in half. This place is secured with a clamp to secure the furnace parts. The screw is mounted in such a way that the liquid drips slowly.
- The wick replaces rags that are soaked in fuel.
- The door is being installed.
- A hole is drilled in the center of the body at some distance from the pipe, the diameter of which corresponds to the size of the copper product.
- The rag is set on fire, drops of fuel constantly wet it. The miracle diesel stove starts working.
- To be able to cook food, the tube is installed on the side.
What should the heating be like in a garage?
For many motorists, the garage is almost a second home. Here they delve into their hobby, take a break from the hustle and bustle and take care of the car. Therefore, first of all, you should think about the comfort of the person who spends hours indoors.
Heating is also necessary for the car, because... low temperatures negatively affect its technical condition and significantly reduce its service life.
When it gets cold, the garage becomes too humid. Condensation forms on metal parts, which provokes corrosion processes. In a cold room, the car body quickly rusts and becomes unusable.
To keep the garage dry, you should take care of good waterproofing and ensure the normal operation of the ventilation system. However, moisture still gets into the room on the wheels of the car. It evaporates and drops of water settle on surfaces. If there is no heating, moisture accumulates, causing fungus, mold, and rust to appear. To prevent this from happening, heating is necessary.
Low temperatures cause the oil to thicken and reduce battery capacity. This makes it difficult to start the engine and increases fuel consumption. Therefore, it makes sense to spend time and effort assembling a miracle stove
Features of garage operation determine the requirements for heating systems:
- Efficiency. The oven must heat the air quickly and maintain the desired temperature for several hours.
- Easy to use. When coming to the garage, its owner should spend a minimum of time and effort heating the room.
- Ease of maintenance. The stove must be inspected, cleaned, and repaired in a timely manner, so its design must be simple and understandable, and its parts must be easily replaceable.
- Availability of energy source. When choosing a heating system, fuel availability is of fundamental importance. A stove using diesel fuel, diesel fuel or waste oil is well suited for a garage.
- Safety. There is always some amount of flammable substances in the garage. Since these premises often serve as workshops and sheds, flammable materials will often be found here. Therefore, heating must comply with all fire safety standards.
- Cheapness. The costs of servicing a car and arranging a garage are already high, so saving on heating without compromising its quality is a pressing issue.
When choosing a suitable heating device, you should set priorities, because... the ideal is unattainable. The easiest to use are electric heaters. This energy source is available in almost any location. However, the price of heating with electricity is too high, so it is worth considering other options.
Image gallery Photos from This heating method is chosen by people who are willing to spend money on an infrared heater and pay electricity bills. Although the devices are very economical, they are still not cheap. The main advantage of infrared heating: objects are heated, not air (it warms up indirectly by coming into contact with warm surfaces). This allows you to create local thermal zones
Garage owners who have the opportunity to buy solid fuel inexpensively make good old potbelly stoves. Such heating is reliable, and its effectiveness has been proven over time. There are also disadvantages: you will have to install a chimney, and keep a supply of fuel in the garage, which takes up a lot of space
Heat guns are often purchased to heat garages, workshops, and utility rooms. There are many models powered by gas cylinders, electricity or diesel fuel. Every garage owner will definitely find a suitable option. The only negative is the high price of the device
Industrially produced models are compact, beautiful, easy to use, but not cheap. If you make a miracle stove yourself, you will get a completely functional and inexpensive design. The only negative: from a design point of view, it will not be able to compete with aesthetic industrial models

Miracle diesel stove
Making a miracle of a diesel oven with your own hands
A miracle diesel stove can be a solution to the problem of temporary or emergency heating of residential or non-residential premises, temporary buildings or utility rooms. The device is a compact and at the same time functional device that runs on diesel fuel or kerosene. It received its original name thanks to sellers and manufacturers. But there is nothing magical in the design of such a device. This heating device is a small liquid fuel stove, which is a modern incarnation of the legendary kirogas. But unlike the latter, a miracle diesel stove can please its owners with excellent functionality, low fuel consumption and light weight.
Areas of use
Diagram of the miracle diesel stove
A miracle do-it-yourself diesel fuel stove or a factory-made unit will be an excellent solution when there is a need to heat utility-type premises, country houses or garages and other premises in which they have not yet had time to install or do not have a connection to central heating at all.
This heating device can quite successfully act as a main or additional heating device. Using this oven you can heat and cook food. However, you should always remember that such devices are not used in rooms where there are problems with ventilation systems. During the operation of this device, a large amount of smoke is released, and along with the heat and heat, a rather specific and unpleasant odor is released.
Design Features
A diesel stove was able to quickly gain great popularity among owners of garages, summer houses and other premises that require permanent or temporary heating. Such units are small in size, and the weight of the largest and most powerful models often does not exceed 10-12 kg.
You can purchase such a miracle stove or make it yourself. A device made by yourself can become more economical, and it will also be quite easier to adapt it to the conditions for which it was created. The most popular diesel fuel heaters today are those made from a conventional gas cylinder and a drip stove.
Drip stove
Diagram of a diesel stove
The drip stove is perfect for small rooms, and the manufacturing process of this device is simple and quick. A drip-type device will be an excellent solution for heating small rooms, small country houses or tents. To make such a stove, it is necessary to calculate the volume of area that needs heating. For example, for a room measuring 4x4 meters you will need a box measuring 40x40x20 cm.
If you need a small stove, then you can use the bottom of a fire extinguisher as a base, and for a larger device, any 200 liter container will do. These parts will be used to heat the heater. To make diesel fuel, you will need a medical burner with a volume of 2 liters. The rubber hose of the burner must be connected to a small diameter copper tube, the length of which is about 1 meter. The tube should bend at an angle of 90 degrees.
Next, the hose is bent in half, and the bend is secured with a clamp in order to secure the main parts. The screw of the device is installed and mounted in such a way that the liquid drips slowly. The rags that are soaked in diesel fuel are replaced with a wick.
Next, the device door is installed, and a hole is mounted in the very center of the case, the diameter of which must correspond to the diameter of the copper tube. After igniting the rag, drops of fuel begin to continuously wet it and the miracle stove begins to work. In order to cook or heat food using this oven, the tube must be installed on the side.
Gas cylinder construction
Miracle oven device
To create a device from a gas cylinder, you must have at your disposal:
- Seamless type cylinder (wall thickness no more than 1.5 cm);
- Pipes for smoke removal (length – 4 m, diameter – more than 10 cm);
- Fuel container (volume – no more than 15 liters);
- Welding machine;
- Bulgarian
- Copper tubes, steel angles
Using a grinder, the cylinder is cut into equal parts, one of which will be the lid, and the other will be the chamber. Legs made of metal corners are welded to the cylinder chamber. Next, you need to step back about 20 cm from the very edge of the lid using a welding machine to make a hole into which the exhaust pipe will be inserted.
For this, a regular chimney pipe may be suitable, the length of which is no more than 4 meters, and the diameter is no more than 10 cm. Fuel is supplied independently. No additional devices are used to pump air into the stove from a gas cylinder. The combustion source, which is located inside, and the height of the contour must be at the same height. Thanks to this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the oven from heating to dangerous temperatures.
Distinctive features
A stove assembled by yourself has a number of advantages:
- it saves fuel;
- if desired, you can design a stove of any size, which will be the most suitable option for a given room;
- easy to transport;
- ease of use;
- The oven dripper can be used for cooking. To do this, when constructing a stove, the pipe is placed on the side.

This is important to know: during the combustion of fuel, an unpleasant odor may form, so the room must be well ventilated.
When making a drip stove with your own hands, you need to follow fire safety precautions:
- the device must be located in a draft-free room;
- flammable objects should be absent near the stove; it is advisable to have free space next to it (about half a meter);
- Do not use water to extinguish or cool the stove.
Materials needed to build the furnace:
- sheet metal;
- copper pipe;
- pipe branch;
- rubber hose;
- gas cylinder;
- screws;
- medical burner.
The main tools that will be useful for the job are a welding machine, a drill and a clamp.

Design and operating principle
The miracle stove can operate not only on diesel fuel, but also on kerosene. Some people prefer the second option, since the performance of the unit increases and the emission of potentially hazardous substances decreases.
Today there are many models that differ in power, and this indicator affects the duration of continuous operation of the furnace: it can range from 6 to 28 hours.
The operating principle is discussed in more detail below:
- Through the pipeline, the fuel flows by gravity into a special combustion chamber.
- The stove is equipped with shut-off valves, which, if necessary, allows you to regulate the process of supplying diesel fuel to the chamber.
- The hole designed to supply air inside the unit is also used for ignition.
- The temperature inside the stove gradually increases and gradually reaches a point at which the combustion process of diesel fuel is stable.
- Immediately after stabilization of combustion, a very stable draft appears.
- During combustion, diesel vapors arise, which are mixed with air: this reaction takes place under the unit where the fuel burns.
- Until the fuel burns completely, the room in which the miracle stove is located is heated.
The classic design of most types of such stoves operating on diesel fuel is as follows:
- A removable tank designed for fuel. It must be equipped with a valve.
- The adjusting screw allows you to manually adjust the fuel consumption and select the room heating temperature.
- Block equipped with a wick. If necessary, it is replaced.
- Protective grille.
- Frame. Most models have a modern design and can fit into the design of any room.
- A reflector that is specially powder coated, which allows you to effectively warm up a heated room.
- The burner is located in the center of the unit. Diesel fuel enters it from the fuel tank by gravity.
The main material for the manufacture of the miracle furnace is special types of steel with heat-resistant characteristics. The equipment is small in size and weighs on average about 10 kg, which ensures high mobility and allows it to be moved by one adult.
The hole designed to supply air inside the unit is also used for ignition.
